Our Heritage...

I.M.L. Funeral Services Ltd. opened for business in August, 1997.

Combined, our staff has worked in the emergency health and death care industry for over 40 years.  It is our goal to serve the families in our community with dignity & compassion and more importantly, we wanted to provide above standard services and offer affordable prices to everyone who entrusted our family during life's most difficult times.

The best compliment that we receive is usually in the form of "Thank You" cards or momentos, simply to acknowledge that our sincerity and professionalism were appreciated.  In turn, we also thank all of our families for their dedication to celebrate the lives of loved ones.

I.M.L. is located in Petit De Grat, a small french Acadian community on beautiful Isle Madame, Cape Breton.  We have been serving families in surrounding areas and also proud to offer services in both official languages.

From January 2002 until December 2008, our company has provided transport services on behalf of the Nova Scotia Medical Examiner's Office.  This has given us an opportunity to meet some exceptional people all over our province, somehow connected in our industry.
